In love. I think I would doodle 100x times better with these pencils and some damn fine coffee.
Saw these at Renegade Craft Fair in San Francisco last week from oneupdesigns, now wishing I picked some up…
I knew when I was 5 years old that I would be in California, that I’d be acting, that I’d be living in a yellow house, and I do. I saw the whole thing. When there’s something that I want, I believe it’s mine. I walk into a room —you can see the faces of the girls when I walk into a room— cause I know it’s mine. Not in a bitchy way, it’s very positive and loving, (in cute voice) “this is mine!” and then, by the way, if it only works 60% of the time, great, you’ve got a good life. So I like to live my life that way, very positive, very… just holding onto exactly what you want and bringing that, being good, and never trying to get there by hurting someone else.

The great illustrator Adrian Tomine provides this fantastic Moonrise Kingdom illustration that was used to accompany Anthony Lane’s review in this week’s New Yorker.
